So, skip this if you want because this is a rant.
What is with Malaysian guys these days wanting to date a girl, have fun with her but marry a virgin? I don't get this, you need a girl to test your skills with, have fun and then you want to settle down with a homely, virgin girl. This so wrong ethically and morally. I hate every time I hear a guy looking for a homely girl but flirting all around with the more open minded ones.
Make no mistake, I have no problem against premarital sex, while I'm a virgin myself, I think if you feel that you have met someone you want to do the deed with, there's no harm in that at all as long as you being 100% completely safe.
In fact, I don't get why premarital sex is such a taboo in Malaysia. Calm the heck down. It's just some tussle in between the sheets. I despise how girls are valued and judged if they're good or bad by the existence (or the lack of it) of their virginity.
I hate how there's so much pressure from family for a girl to be virgin and not be involved in any relationships. We are talking about most parents here, regardless of race. Agreeably, while I get their concern regarding the sexual diseases running rampant nowadays and all that. That still shouldn't condone society treating girls who have done the deed like social thrash. Just saying by the way, I have heard of cases of married couple contracting STDs from their partners. Point is,there's no guarantee right? Unless both parties decide to practice abstinence.
Do you know how many marriages fail and end in divorce because of bad sex life? Check the divorce statistics in Malaysia. Why are people in Malaysia so patriarchal that we want our sons to only marry a virgin bride? What is wrong with women being more sexually liberated?
As for me, I believe I will do the deed if I meet the right person and in my case, it's not premarital sex if you're never getting married. Besides, from years of watching marriage institutions around me, I have completely lost my faith in it. Most marriages are either unhappy or simply fail. I have not met one marriage that is happy so far. It's bull crap. When you marry someone, you marry their family too and all the dramas that come with it. I'm going off topic here but you get my views on this matter, I believe it's completely healthy for women (not girls!) to explore their sexuality as long as they're being 100% completely safe which includes making sure their partners are healthy as well.
Many might disagree with my views but this is my opinion, no one is forcing you to accept it.
